SCBWI Montana Groups

Critique groups are wonderful ways to connect with other kid-lit creators in our state. You will have the opportunity to share your creative work and receive feedback. And, you repay the favor by critiquing other members’ works!

We believe in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for all of our SCBWI Montana events, including our critique groups. Current SCBWI members are expected to follow SCBWI policies which can be found here https://www.scbwi.org/scbwi-policies/.

Keep in mind, the pandemic has changed the way many groups are exchanging feedback. Some meet virtually and exchange work by email. Other groups may meet face-to-face at public locations such as libraries, coffee shops, or schools. Some groups meet every two weeks, others meet once a month. The critique schedule is determined by the members of each group.

If you are a current SCBWI Montana member and you’re looking for a critique group, please contact our Critique Group Coordinator Ellen Crosby at pecrosby@juno.com.
